The Office of Public Procurement and the Office of the Government of the Slovak Republic warn that from February 1, 2023, public procurement entities are obliged to use an exclusively electronic platform for communication in public procurement for sub-limit orders and defined low-value orders.

The public contracting authority is not obliged to use the electronic platform in public procurement, which was announced or demonstrably started until January 31, 2023, if it uses an electronic means for actions to be performed through the electronic platform according to § 20 of the Public Procurement Act.

The functionalities of the electronic platform are currently secured using the electronic marketplace (ET) and the Electronic Public Procurement information system (IS EVO). The administrator of the electronic platform is the Office of the Government of the Slovak Republic from 31.03.2022. All information about the electronic platform, as well as contacts for support, can be found at eplatforma.gov.sk or www.eks.sk.
